ProAir Launches PA700LI

ProAir is delighted to announce the new ProAir PA700LI.

‘BEST IN CLASS’ for INDOOR AIR QUALITY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The PA700LI is the latest product to be launched by ProAir and is designed for larger homes up to 270m² in size. Founder and Managing Director of ProAir, David McHugh said “The PA700LI is an exciting Irish innovation in indoor air management and has fulfilled my ambition to develop the highest possible efficiency unit on the market. We are delighted to be able to introduce people to the PA700LI which evolved to fulfil the demand for highly efficient residential ventilation systems.  We are confident there will be a lot of interest in this unit which, under test conditions at the Building Research Establishment in England, has demonstrated the highest efficiency in its class on the Irish market.”

“We are extremely proud to develop and manufacture this product in Galway, Ireland. As Ireland’s only manufacturer of Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), we have been at the cutting edge of research and development. The PA 700LI was developed in-house, but the company also has an ongoing relationship with Atlantic Technical University where research into the next generation MVHR is taking place. When the two R&D departments fully coalesce, we can look forward to more firsts in terms of efficiency and highest technology levels”

Research cites MVHR as the most cost-effective solution for achieving an energy efficient air exchange rate and a healthy environment for building occupants.  The PA700LI boasts low energy consumption with a thermal efficiency of up to 95%. The recent consultation paper on changes to Scottish building regulations states ‘The introduction of an efficient heat recovery system to a well-insulated building with low fabric infiltration can offer greater benefit than further enhancements to the building fabric specification and may often offer a more cost-effective means of improving overall performance’.

The unit includes sensors to monitor Temperature, Humidity and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) for enhanced Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).  The unit uses this information to provide intelligent ventilation and the optimal indoor environment. Touch pads provide users with simple and straightforward control and wireless boost switches offer the option to boost the system.

ProAir also introduces ProAirVENT Connect, a new mobile app which gives homeowners easy access to conveniently control the PA700LI system on their smartphone. The app is available to download on both Apple and Android platforms.  The ProAir technical support team can easily be given access to the system which allows remote updates and diagnostics for service and customer support.  This user-friendly app has lots of features and users have the flexibility to update a multitude of settings on their system from the next room, or even the other side of the world!

An additional Bluetooth app, ProAirVENT Local Control, is used to commission the unit and allows users to change the settings locally.

The unit also includes a Summer Bypass as standard and has a Specific Energy Consumption (SEC) rating of A+. The system uses the Humidity & CO2 sensors to automatically control both the Summer Bypass and Boost function. The PA700LI operates continuously at low speeds to minimise electrical consumption.

As with all ProAir systems, the ProAir team will develop a ventilation strategy exclusively for you and a bespoke system is designed specifically for every project. Our highly skilled technicians install in compliance with the most up to date building regulations (Part F 2019) and certification is provided upon completion.
